This is a great deli. I have had their veggie wrap, which is very tasty. Their salads look great as they toss them right at the counter. They have a great selection for lunch. It takes awhile to get your food so I wouldn't go there if you are in a hurry. The location is great because you can easily walk across the street to Phoenix Park for a picnic.

Yummy food including breakfast & lunch! Good view of Phoenix Park out of the north windows. They offer wraps, sandwiches, soup, coffee, salads and breakfast all day! Seating inside and out. They cater too! 4 stars due to a minor ordering issue a few times but this isn't fine dining, it's a deli. Recommend you check it out the next time your downtown Eau Claire!

I love going to the Smiling Moose. Friendly help behind the counter and the food is good too. Good value for the money. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Nice view out the windows.

You can't say much about a franchise deli sandwich shop. It's like saying a specific subway is the best sandwich you've had... It's good as far as delis go, but if they went out of business, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Underrated currently on Yelp. Solid breakfast options and hot sandwiches. Probably the bet bet for those options in this neighborhood

A branch of this chain recently opened in Eau Claire. I had a cold vegetarian sandwich with avocado and it was ok but nothing special. My parents got meat sandwiches and both said they were good. The physical place is nice and it's in a great location for the summer farmer's market.

I love the location! It is a nice little deli. The staff is young and enthusiastic. I had the Mid-turn Mile Sandwich and it was really flavorable. It seemed like a fairly busy place and a nice option for a lunch or breakfast in Eau Claire.

Big fan of this place. Great food. But yes, as one other reviewer mentioned... it's pricey. However.. the sandwiches are huge. I can eat half and save the rest for another meal. The mac & cheese is excellent. so are the soups. The poster who gave this 1 star is a little harsh. Yes, it's not a AAA 5 diamond eatery. It's a DELI. And excellent at that. If their prices were a little cheaper.. it'd be 5 stars for me.

The food is just 'ok' and a bit pricey. I was hungry and this area of Eau Claire doesn't really have place to grab some good food, I decided to check it out. I got a reuben, barely had any meat or thousand island/colesalw on it and it was $6.00. Not worth the price. Also had an ice coffee. It was just a cheap brand of coffee. If you want really good coffee go to Starbucks. I was at this location at lunch time about noon on Thursday May 26. They had only one cashier working and the line was out the door. They had 6 people behind the counter, and I think one was the manager/owner but it seem like they were all just running around like 'chickens with their heads cutoff". There are better places to get a great sandwich in Eau Claire and get more bang for your buck Like the Family Resturant in Altoona.
